Why Every Brand Should Be on YouTube
Is your business or brand on YouTube?
If not, it needs to be, Daisy Whitney reports in this week's “New Media Minute.”
It's the second-biggest search engine on the Web, which means visitors are going there to plug in names like "H&R Block," "Billy Elliot: The Musical" and "Wal-Mart."
Those brands all have YouTube channels and this episode digs into when such channels are effective in guiding consumers to a purchase and the stumbling blocks entrepreneurs will want to avoid.

We believe the picture painters of the mass media are artfully creating landscapes for us which deliberately hide the real picture. In this book we will show you how to discover the “hidden picture” in the landscapes presented to us daily through newspapers, radio and television.

The one function that TV news performs very well is that when there is no news we give it to you with the same emphasis as if there were.
Youtube is – TV.
TV ‘for free’:
In opposition to all the other channels where you must pay and after you must be editted.

I completely agree with you that every brand should be on you tube as it is the second biggest search engine video on the web. Any Business or Brand will get boost up on you tube

Good job Daisey on the You-Tube report. I didn’t realize how large the search was. If Google is their parent company, You-Tube can only get better.

Well Google have declared major losses over the last 12 months from YouTube so although its good for general users this does indicate its not good for brand promotion or revenue generation!
