A lot of the naysayers on here sound like people did when color TV first came out, and when HDTV first came out. Give it time...3D TV will catch on.

"“The TV will have the ability to track someone who’s watching TV,” he said. “So you don’t have to sit in one spot to get that beautiful 3-D experience. You’ll be able to move around the room and the TV will track where you are" - - Ok, so 1 person at a time can watch this $10,000 TV. Now that will be fun, Sounds perfect. Are the guys designing these things a bunch of morons? I wasn't the slightest bit interested in 3D before and I'm sure not interested in this. I'll stick with my Panasonic 1080 Plasma instead, thank you very much. Now there is a picture that still amazes me every time I sit in front of it even 5 years later.

What happens when more than one person is watching it? How does it track multiple people?

If it is tracking one person's eyes, how does it work with several people watching sitting in different places?

Although current 3D TV (or movies), with or without the glasses, is enjoyable, it produces only the illusion of three-dimensional viewing. That’s because 3D shown on a 2D screen is not truly 3D. Only when holographic motion technology or something similar is produced will there truly be three-dimensional viewing, and it won’t be on a 2D screen.

What a load of rubbish.

We have a 3D 50" Panasonic Viera TV. Totally brilliant. Was affordable, & the glasses are not goofy. They are very comfortable, just like wearing sunnies. The 3D picture can be seen from every chair in the lounge room, even moving from chair to chair. AND, moving around the room. Moving your head from side to side does not affect the quality of the picture at all.

'Not a lot to watch'??? PLEASE..... We have 38 3D bluray movies at the moment, & more & more are being made everyday.

Sounds like Toshiba are trying to make every other product sound bad, so you buy theirs instead.....
