They are also going to duplicate the experiment at the Fermilab near Chicago and maybe at the T2K facility in Japan. So we should have a definitive answer fairly soon. There was never really any great possibility that the Opera team result was correct. Even the Opera team themselves said that. They have actually found two problems with the equipment used; one of which would have given too short a time and one too long a time for the neutrinos 730km journey.
