"Black Ops" fans, rejoice! Activision has announced the sequel to its popular "Call of Duty" series. Scheduled for release on Nov. 13, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2? is slated to be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows PCs. A  PlayStation Vita version will also be released, though Nintendo Wii and 3DS fans don't seem to be getting any love from Activision at the moment.

Developer Treyarch has taken the series into the future; the game follows David Mason, son of Alex Mason, the previous installment's central character.  "The Dark Knight" screenwriter David Goyer has returned to help craft the story and flesh out a new super villain named Raul Menendez.  The new trailer, embedded below, depicts a world where enemies have turned unmanned machines of war against everyone. With what will most likely be an action-packed thrill ride, players everywhere will be waiting eagerly for November to get here quickly.
