The only reason that the Vatican does not want it’s Priest to be married is because they do not want to have to pay the cost of raising the children of that marriage…. education and health care etc.etc. and also to sastify the demands of the priest’s wife who would want a home and new clothes for her and their children and then she would coax her husband to demand from his Bishop that he must earn more money !!!!!

This piece of paper conflicts with so many scriptures, of which we have hundreds of early generation copies, including those before the time of this piece of paper. Anyone who claims this piece of paper is accurate and real have just declared hundreds of manuscripts of the Bible fake.

Who knows if but someone was writing a fictional novel? After all, there is a movie out claiming Abraham Lincoln was a vampire hunter. We all know its fiction, but what if a future generation of people, unaware of our history, stumbles across it and decides there were vampires?

Whether or not Jesus was married – limiting the priesthood to celibate males is crippling the Church. you eliminate 50% of the flock – the most empathetic – the females, off the top. You eliminate any males with any understanding about normal family life. You get a very limited set of talent – many of them with strange views of how to treat children. If you want to know why churches are closing due to lack of vocations – look no farther.

I believe Jesus was married and if so…SO WHAT??? Why is the Vatican so afraid of this?? I don’t believe that priests should be single forever either. All the other faiths, ie : Rabbis, ministers are married..why can’t Catholic priests be too??

They do things like (1) translate the words, what does it say? (2) perform carbon dating to date the sample and (3) take samples from it to find geographical origin location. Is this a material that could be found near where Jesus was at the time Jesus was alive. The Vatican, however, without all the evidence in claims “its’ a fake”. uh huh. Yeah. Let’s keep going with that men-be-celebate-to-be-priests thing because it’s worked sooooo well thus far, huh? unbelievable. You do all realize, with the other tangent of abortion and gays, both issues to which Jesus never ever spoke a single word about, this religion based on this man is well on it’s way to becoming a cult that actually has NOTHING to do with the actual person or beliefs of Jesus of Nazareth.

I’m stunned! ANYTHING that doesn’t agree with the Vaticans position, is FAKE! Coptic writing on papyrus at the right time is obviously a fake? Just why should anyone believe the Vatican? They have lied for centuries. Put people to death for NO REASON. They have always hated women! Look at the inquisition! No proof, no problem, we’ll kill them just in case! Aiding the Nazi’s? No problem, we’ll just look the other way! Pedophile priests? We’ll just pay the victims off! And my personell favorite, we change the rules from time to time, beacuse it’s easier!
