Online gamers are credited with alerting police after two burglars were seen on live video storming into the Arizona home of a fellow player.

A webcam video of the female gamer playing “Defense of the Ancients 2″ shows her ducking as an armed gunman comes into view.

“On the ground, now!” a man’s voice can be heard saying on the video, according to ABC News’ Phoenix affiliate KNXV.

A few minutes later, a man can be seen on the video carrying what appears to be stolen items and several firearms.

A European player was able to reach an American contact who knew the victim’s address and was able to alert police in Arizona, according to KNXV.

One suspect was apprehended near the scene, while a second person is still being sought.

In a Facebook message posted by a woman named Sajedene who identified herself as the victim, said she was home with her boyfriend when they heard a loud noise.

“I don’t know where I would be if I wasn’t doing what I was doing to have you come to our aid when the people who lived much closer were not able to do the same,” she wrote.  ”I can not thank you all enough.”
