Party Time at the FAA; Critics Question $5 Million Gathering

"As a manager in the FAA for the past 20 years, I can attest to the fact that these abuses routinely transpire. This is but the tip of the iceberg. The FAA squanders hundreds of millions of dollars by ignoring new technology to perpetuate the existing and archaic ways of controlling traffice at the the taxpayers expense and to the degradation in safety.Meetings are routinely held in south Florida in the winter to get warm, in Orlando in the summer for family vacations and in NYC in November/December for the DC staffs to accommodate their Xmas shopping and parties....all at the expense of the taxpaye"
