— -- Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are having an amazing back and forth on social media, based on Stallone's coming up short at the Oscars.

On Sunday after Stallone lost to Mark Rylance for Best Supporting Actor, Schwarzenegger took to Facebook to post a video and write, "Sly, to me you're always the best, no matter what they say."

Yesterday, Stallone responded with a message of his own for "The Terminator."

"Hey Arnold, thanks for the words of encouragement, I'll see you soon," he said in the clip.

This support among two acting legends is in addition to the actor also addressing his fans yesterday with words of encouragement about not bringing home the Academy Award.

Stallone's message was everything and more you'd expect from the class act.

"To all the 'real Rocky's' of the world, please hang on to your dreams, NEVER GIVE IN, NEVER GIVE OUT, NEVER GIVE UP! thanks for the support," he wrote, next to a picture of him at the awards show, pumping his fist.

Stallone was the front-runner for Best Supporting Actor for taking on the role of Rocky yet again in "Creed."

Instead, the Oscar went to Mark Rylance for his work in "Bridge of Spies."

When accepting his award, Rylance made sure to recognize Stallone and the others nominated in his category.

"I want to just say thank you to my fellow nominees. I don’t know how they separate my acting from your glorious acting in these wonderful films," he said accepting his Oscar.
