A new video could prove what Justin Bieber has been saying all along: that he wasn't behind the wheel the day Keyshawn Johnson confronted him over speeding through their gated California neighborhood.
L.A. County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told ABC News that a video does exist and, while he hasn't seen it, he's been told that the video shows the Ferrari pulling into Bieber's driveway with his friend Tyler the Creator behind the wheel on the night of May 27.
In the video, which comes from the singer's security camera, Bieber follows closely behind the Ferrari on his motorcycle, according to a TMZ report, which Whitmore confirmed. Tyler then gets out of the car so Bieber can maneuver the Ferrari into the garage.
That is apparently when Johnson showed up to confront Bieber.
"All I want to do is protect my kids. I got a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old," Johnson, 40, told TMZ after the incident. "He's speeding through a residential neighborhood. That's why all the neighbors is mad. … You got a 19-year old kid feeling entitled; speeding up and down the highway!"
The 19-year-old singing sensation now faces a possible misdemeanor reckless driving charge.
Bieber's friend, rapper Tyler the Creator, has maintained that he was the one driving the car.
Whitmore told ABC News that regardless of who was behind the wheel, the reckless driving needs to stop. The Sheriff's Department will be presenting their case to the district attorney's office soon.
