Could NFL players be learning rookie hazing tactics from Tony Soprano?

In season five, episode one, Tony Soprano explains to a mob rookie that it is a tradition of respect for younger members to pick up the tab for their older colleagues.

The scene from the HBO show seems to parallel recent allegations that NFL veterans have pressured rookie players to pick up expenses, going so far as to treat them like their own personal ATM machines.

Let's just hope the players aren't taking all of their cues from Tony Soprano.
