Ten years ago during the Super Bowl halftime show, there was Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction that left her right breast exposed on live television. Last year, a power outage after Beyonce's electrifying halftime show left everyone wondering if the diva caused the blackout. (The NFL said she didn't.)

This year, it's more benign, but everyone has an opinion about the Red Hot Chili Peppers' lack of shirts.

Anthony Keedis is 51. Never trust anyone over 50.

Best halftime show I've ever seen ? (except for the old shirtless screaming dude) well done Mr. Mars, well done?

I'm still glad to see Kiedis rocking his 'By the Way' hairstyle, still going strong and shirtless at age 51. Awesome.

In case you're wondering, front man Anthony Kiedis is 51 and the weather at MetLife Stadium today is in the mid-40s. We'll let you draw your own conclusions about whether shirts were needed.
