Former "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel recently told People magazine she's shocked that her recent split from husband Jason Hoppy isn't amicable.

"Someone said to me recently, 'We see what we want to see,'" the Skinnygirl mogul, 42, said. "I guess, at the time, that's what I did."

Here are other "Housewives" whose marriages didn't last.

Porsha Stewart

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star told ABC News in April that she learned via Twitter her husband of two years, former NFL star Kordell Stewart, was filing for divorce. "I feel heartbroken and, at times, I feel ashamed," she said. "I put myself out there to the world as a wife and I was proud to be married. And for it to end the way it did, it's almost like a failure, in a way."

Adrienne Maloof

Maloof, a star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," and her plastic-surgeon husband of 10 years, Paul Nassif, announced their split last summer. Maloof, 51, and Nassif have three sons together.

Michaele Salahi

Michaele and Tareq Salahi famously crashed a 2009 state dinner at the White House, and went on to appear on "The Real Housewives of D.C." After eight years of marriage, however, the couple split in 2011.

Lisa Wu

Wu and former pro football player Ed Hartwell seemed so in love on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Hartwell filed in 2011 to divorce his wife of more than five years. They have one child together.

Taylor Armstrong

In July 2011, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star filed for divorce from Russell Armstrong, her husband of about six years and the father of her daughter, Kennedy. He committed suicide a month later.

Camille Grammer

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star and actor Kelsey Grammer were together for 14 years (and had two children) when he told her in 2010 that he no longer wanted to be married to her. "His mind was made up," Grammer, 44, told People. "I was scared at first, and there's still fear. But I'm excited about my future."

DeShawn Snow

In 2010, former NBA player Eric Snow filed to divorce his wife of 12 years, the mother of his three children. "The hardest thing in life is to believe that things happen for a reason," the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star told Us Weekly of the split. "You can't be a victim. You have to be a victor -- press through it -- and know that success is the best revenge."

Tamra Barney

Tamra and Simon Barney's tense marriage was featured on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and, in 2010, he filed to divorce his wife of 11 years. They have three kids. Now, Barney is engaged to Eddie Judge: "8 weeks until wedding .... Yikes," she tweeted April 14, 2013.

LuAnn de Lesseps

In 2009, the "Real Housewives of New York City" star received an email from her husband, Count Alexandre de Lesseps, saying that he was in love with someone else. The timing couldn't have been worse: She had just written a book, "Class with the Countess," containing a chapter titled, "How to Get a Man to Stay in Love."

"You can try all you want," de Lesseps, 47, told People magazine, "but if you're not getting reciprocation from the other person, it's not your fault."

Vicki Gunvalson

The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star split from her husband, Donn Gunvalson in 2010 after 14 years of marriage. "My love tank has truly been empty for many, many years," Gunvalson, 51, told Us Weekly of the divorce. "We stopped communicating. My happiness came from my work and my children [from my first marriage]. I didn't go to Donn for friendship or companionship, and he didn't with me either."
