Brewskis in Boston Forget the tea. Suds are in high supply in beantown. Spend a day following the Freedom Trail for a dose of American history that will also take you past some of the country's most-storied taverns, such as the Green Dragon (an old Paul Revere haunt), Union Oyster House (our nation's oldest restaurant) and Hennessy's. Then, round out the weekend with stops at Bull & Finch, ("where everybody knows your name") and tours of the Harpoon, Boston, Trillium and Sam Adams breweries.
BBQ and Horseback Riding in Scottsdale, Ariz. For some outdoor bonding, consider Scottsdale Links. Located near the McDowell Mountains, the property boasts a fire pit and barbecue facilities as well as close proximity to an equestrian center. For those who prefer a bird's eye view of the local terrain, tourists can also explore the region by helicopter or small aircraft. Save 30 percent booking a room through Hotels.com.
Hog Heaven in Milwaukee Harley Davidson's 110th Anniversary is taking over Milwaukee this Labor Day Weekend bringing 100,000 thundering motorcycles, 60-plus bands (including John Fogerty and Unle Kracker), and gut-busting food and drink for the three-day festival. Be prepared to return with a tattoo. Check out Visitmilwaukee.com for festival and lodging information.
Slots and Celebs in Las Vegas "Go big" for Labor Day while hitting up the casinos and concerts in Las Vegas over the holiday weekend.
