Delaware will go to the Democrats this November.
Sen. Joe Biden, Obama's vice presidential pick, has a strong following in his home state, and for the last four elections, Delaware residents have gone blue.
So, McCain's primary win here probably won't mean much since Biden is the hometown hero and, with Obama, who picked up the state during the Democratic primary.

Sen. John McCain won the state's primary en route to the Republican nomination but it probably won't mean much as the Obama-Biden team looks to lock down their home territory of Illinois and Delaware to focus on nearby battleground states such as Pennsylvania.
