  • "Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Teresa and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty in New Jersey federal court on March 4, 2014, to federal fraud charges, ABC News confirmed. The couple pleaded guilty to several counts of loan and bankruptcy fraud, opening themselves to possible prison time. Sentencing is set for July 8 in Newark.

  • "Real Housewives of New York City" star Sonja Morgan filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November 2010, according to the Wall Street Journal. Morgan cited a failed project between her production company, Sonja Productions, and Hannibal Pictures Inc. to make a movie starring John Travolta for causing her financial woes. Morgan's Chapter 11 bankruptcy continues to be worked out in court.

  • Former "Real Housewives of New York City" star Kelly Bensimon was charged in 2009 with third-degree misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching an ex-boyfriend in the face. The case was settled in a Manhattan court and the charges were dropped. Bensimon was later kicked off the Bravo TV reality show in its fifth season.

  • Richard Hatch, the first winner of the reality TV series "Survivor," served three years in federal prison for failing to pay his taxes on his $1 million "Survivor" winnings. He was released in 2009, but in 2011, while competing on "The Celebrity Apprentice," Hatch was ordered to serve an additional nine-month sentence for violating the conditions of his release from jail, the AP reported.

  • Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the trash-talking breakout star of "Jersey Shore" was arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J., in 2010 while shooting MTV's reality show's third season and was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Polizzi took a plea deal in which she pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of disturbing the peace, and was sentenced to two days of community service and ordered to pay a fine.

  • "Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who famously trashed the bedroom of his then-girlfriend and fellow castmember Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola on camera, was hit with misdemeanor third-degree assault charges in December 2010 for allegedly knocking a man unconscious. The charges were later dropped.

  • Troubled "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood was sentenced to five years in prison for an illegal prescription drug charge, telling ABC News in an exclusive 2012 jailhouse interview that she suffered from depression and addiction problems. Portwood was also convicted in 2010 of assaulting Gary Shirley, her daughter's father, after video surfaced of her hitting him while filming. She was given a suspended two-year jail sentence.
