It's shaping up to be one of the hottest days yet this year. And ginger zee has more on that. Not what firefighters wanted to hear. Not at all. And in the pacific northwest, we don't think of it this way. They had one of their hottest days of the year yesterday. Going to do it again today. 93 seattle. 101 in portland. We're just chock-full of red flag warnings and excessive heat warnings as we end this week. And the firefighters, it's tough for them to fight. Look at this video. I want to show you just how bad it is. 1.4 acres currently burning. 62 active fires at this point. There's a lot of work doing done. I want to bring you to a picture that is impressive. Watch this.
