For all those practice sessions at dawn, for cheering on a son or daughter if defeat, we're talking about moms and dads who moved heaven and Earth to make a dream come true. Here's ABC's Amy robach. Reporter: Every olympic journey starts with a child and a dream. Good job, Ted. Reporter: But behind each one of them a mom or a dad. Waking up at the crack of dawn, being there late to pick them up. Drying the tears. This salute from proncter and gable. There's Meryl Davis and Charlie white and here are their moms. Best of friends sitting side by side day and night for the 17 years leading to this heart-stopping olympic moment. Part of the gold-medal winning miracle team. Stunning the world in 1980. A game igniting a passion in his little boy Ryan. 34 years later, Ryan keeps the miracle going, representing team usa on the ice. Dad could not be prouder. When you put that Jersey on, I get nervous still when I watch him. Reporter: The nerves can be unbearable. Remember Aly raisman's parents. Come on. Reporter: But these hockey moms have figured out the key to calming those jitters. Is a little dancing.
