Sen. John Cornyn: Border Security Before Immigration Reform

AUSTIN, Texas -- A key Republican senator said Thursday that he wants to demonstrate that the U.S.-Mexico border is secure before considering a comprehensive immigration reform package. "I think there has to be some conditions satisfied," Sen. John Cornyn (Texas) told a gathering of conservative activists and state lawmakers sponsored by the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
