'Little People, Big World' Star Amy Roloff Hopes to Reconcile With Matt Roloff

Amy and Matt Roloff, stars of the TLC series, "Little People, Big World," announced on Wednesday that they were separating, but it may not necessarily be over for good.

Amy Roloff tweeted that she's hopeful that they'll be able to work through their problems.

In response to a fan who wrote that she hoped the estranged couple could "patch the marriage up," Amy responded, "thank you. I hope so It was his choice to leave & we'll see if we can We/ I stay working together for the farm, kids ..."

In a preview of the March 25 episode, Matt Roloff said that after never quite feeling "at home in my own home," he'd moved out of the couple's main house and into the bridle house.

"Amy and I stuck it out for years when maybe we shouldn't have," he explained. "I never quite felt at home in my own home. Something needed to change."

The couple have been together for 26 years and have four children, twins Jeremy and Zack, 23, Molly, 20 and Jacob, 17.

"We work together everyday on the farm, on our business endeavors and most importantly, raising our amazing children," the couple told ABC News in a statement. "We sincerely appreciate the unwavering support, understanding and prayers from our family, friends and many fans. May God Bless you."
