If -- -- TV lover you know the Emmy Awards will be handed out this weekend. This year's host with the most late night talk -- star Jimmy Kimmel and while he may be a funny guy he is taking this -- very seriously. At least that's part Kimmel is in Los Angeles -- like mad that they night and he joins us via satellites tells every secret -- -- big -- he has plan. Jamie thanks so much for joining us. It's my pleasure yes I am taking this seriously I think this is more important than the space shuttle -- well. You -- -- live show every night you make it look so easy. Turner is it -- prepare for -- the -- It's a lot harder I think most of it is his pressure I put on myself if I just relax and kind of went into -- it probably be a more pleasurable experience for me and for everyone around me. But you know you want to do well you have a short period of time in which to do that. My monologue on the show is fifteen minutes this is like -- minute long monologues so you wanted to kind of you know move along and you really want to pick the right jokes so speaking of jokes Hollywood offers a lot of material for someone like -- when it comes to the -- present there are you -- focus on anyone or anything. -- -- -- -- spread it around actually I mean it's you know this show is a celebration of television and the people on television the people behind the scenes. And so I'll try to -- you know single different people out people let the audience wants to -- And people you know I know a lot of these people from their visits that this show. So I think I think we'll have fun I don't want to give too much away but it should be are you ready -- show in particular aside from your own of course regulations. Well on yet thanking you know you hit it right on the -- I'm pretty I'm pretty focused on myself right now very self centered. But another Sims shows I mean I like it's -- a lot of shows that I watch regularly and of course you hold those shows win. But you know it to be honest are probably like four shows in the drama category that I would be. Happy to see win and it's the same amount of -- in the comedy category. And -- actors that you know you -- -- friendships with you you like better than others for various reasons. And I like to see you see them win but I won't tell you which is which. Pilots sought by the compositional -- starting in January your show is going up against Jay Leno and your childhood idol David Letterman. How does that -- It's very strange on you know we -- against them now so -- eased into it but. There's nothing weirder from me than sitting at home and flipping through the channels and seeing. Jay Leno and then David Letterman and then myself it just doesn't it just seems weird and I don't know that -- you know most people don't get to experience that and they just assume like well you're on TV -- on TV but every single time it happens. It strikes me as very. Odd and wrong well it's always fun when you comment on politics before we got out just curious who would you rather sit down at dinner went Mitt Romney or Barack Obama. Com. Well I think if I sat down went to dinner -- Mitt Romney we have a much more expensive meals so I'm gonna go with them thank. Jimmy Kimmel host of late night good luck on Sunday thanks so much for joining us. Thank you.
