owens, abc news, phoenix. More now from our legal team nancy grace host of hln's "nancy great" and dan abrams. What is the prosecutor martinez trying to do being so tough? I'm having a hard time making out what you're saying, I think you asked what is martinez TRYING TO DO with LaViolette on the stand? I would like to point out that i have been watching the jury questions piling up and piling up. They're going to have their way with LaViolette before it's over. Something very disturbing came out at the end of trial. We found out yesterday that jodi arias has written a manifesto of sorts and has been signing it to cash in on her notoriety, quote, if she should become famous. We also learned that jodi arias was very excited about her i.Q. Test behind bars because she thinks that it equals the i.Q. Of albert einstein. I've got a problem with that. Well, look, the prosecutor has a ton of ammunition here to use with this witness, which to go to your question, begs the question, why is he often yelling at this witness? And he did it less so, by the way, yesterday than he did last week. I think it's been a mistake that the prosecutor has been overly aggressive at times. I think he's recognized that and pulled it back when needed to say, look, I've got a lot of things to question the witness about and I can demonstrate that this witness cherry-picks which things to look at and which not to look at. I can prove that this witness is so in the jodi arias tank that she is ignoring any evidence that makes jodi arias look bad. When you have all of that ammo and you have all of that evidence, you don't need to be yelling at the witness and mocking the witness. Do you think he proved -- -- yelling. Go ahead. Yeah, I do believe that, because in some odd, the written e-mails and texts that travis alexander sent to other people before his death he actually stated that he, travis alexander, wfraid of jodi ARIAS BUT YET when LaViolette was asked about that on the stand she chose to discount that and say she didn't believe that but she believed arias who she admits has probably been lying to her. I think the reason that juan martinez, the prosecutor, is a little more laid back if you can say that because he's pretty EXCITABLE IS because LaViolette is no as irritating as the last witnes sh vifk dick samuels, he sliced him up pretty well on the stand. LaVIOLETTE IS MORE LIKABLE AND Therefore I think juan martinez is a little nicer to her but i don't have a problem with him yelling and screaming in court because he is uncovering lie after lie by jodi arias. He can uncover that without yelling and screaming. You may not have a problem with that -- you know what, you say to tate to, I say tomato, it doesn't matter. All that matters is the evidence that comes in front of that jury that's right, which is exactly the argument as to why he doesn't need to yell at the witnesses, precisely. And that will be the last
