Answer: A normal blood pressure for an adult is less than 120 over 80. And for children, we generally recommend that blood pressures be anywhere from 10 to 20 millimeters of mercury less. When children are very young, we would expect that their top blood pressure numbers should be less than 100. When they're adolescents, we would expect that their top blood pressure number should be less than 110.
