. It was an alleged ex-mistress who set off the furor that has engulfed Donald sterling, the owner of the L.A. Clippers, now banned from life from the NBA after those racist comments. But tonight you're going to meet the other "Other woman," another alleged ex-mistress who has some interesting things to say about the notorious mogul dominating the headlines. Here's ABC's Ryan smith. Reporter: They used to say behind every powerful man was a woman. For Donald sterling, whose racist rants caught on tape shocked a nation, there appears to have been more than one. There is his wife of 50 years, Shelley. Are you a racist, Mr. Sterling? No, of course not! Of course not! The tape speaks for itself. Reporter: And he is alleged mistress, V. Stiviano, seen here getting into the red ferrari convertible that sterling apparently bought for her. And the other "Other woman," whose picture is seen here widely for the first time, Alexandra Castro. She claims she and sterling were together for several years, but the relationship ended in court, fighting other the house she says sterling gave her. He says he was just letting her live there temporarily. Castro's attorney at first denied being involved with her. He claimed in his first depositions that he had no personal relationship with Alexandra. Reporter: So she came forward with these photos and letters as proof of their relationship. And then I began showing him photographs of himself with her in his underwear in her apartment and photographs of them traveling together. Then after that session in his deposition, he changed his testimony. Reporter: According to the 2003 court documents uncovered by ABC news, sterling allegedly repaid the tenderness of Castro with belittling scorn. This from Castro, quote, I cooked meals for him, chauffeured him, acted as his confidante. This from sterling, quote, she wanted to have sex as much as possible because she felt she should get paid every time. They later settled the case privately. She contends he has a history of giving money, cars even houses to women. Along with two Ferraris, V. Stiviano received cash, a house and beautiful jewelry from sterling. He then seeks to recover property of value from that relationship. Reporter: Through all this, his wife, Shelley, stands by him. This week claiming they were targeted because of the color of their skin. I asked her, quote, would you reduce the rent? And she said, quote, who do you think you are. She said it was completely false and very hurtful. This is shocking stuff. Here Shelley had developed a system of getting rid of people they downlike and th-- they didn't like and they all happened to be people of color. Reporter: This man lived in one of Donald sterling's buildings. He recalls she visited the apartments one day. She said, "I'm Shelley from the health department." You're Shelley from the health department? Yes, sir. When she saw the camera, she ran like cockroaches. She's there while it's done to make sure it gets finished. The sterlings are serious about the things they did with housing. Reporter: Deron Williams allegations are just a part of the complaints of the history of racism. She said as well as Donald sterling that blacks, the term they use, are smelly and dirty and hispanics, her term as well. Mr. Sterling may not attend any games or practice, may not be present at any clipper facility and may not participate in any player decisions involving the team. Reporter: Today the NBA own are committee had a conference call to discuss the team. I have to get with our team about playing basketball tonight. That's got to be important for us us. Reporter: I have to get to the team. Reporter: And getting to the conference championship. One footnote tonight, the naacp chapter president who had planned to award Donald sterling a lifetime achievement award in Los Angeles resigned today.
