This may not be a surprise to you, but gas is expensive! And it has been for some time. Today marks the 1000th consecutive day that Americans on average have been paying over $3 for gas, according to a new report from AAA. This is the longest stretch at this peak – ever.

Wow – over the line. A Louisiana State University fraternity has now issued an apology after it placed a banner mocking the 1970 campus shooting of Vietnam protesters by national guardsmen that left four dead. The sign, which read "Getting Massacred Is Nothing New to Kent St.," was placed on the Delta Kappa Epsilon house, and an image of the display made the rounds on social media.

"We, the men of Zeta Zeta, formally apologize to your entire community for the banner that was hung from our house this past weekend. The sign was inappropriate and should never have been hung in the first place," DKE said in the apology.

In other news of inappropriate taunting in the sports world, undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather is now denying his involvement in an Instagram image posted to his account taunting Oscar De La Hoya, who has just re-entered rehab.

The image shows a red-eyed De La Hoya with the phrase "MEANWHILE IN REHAB," and below: 'OSCAR: "I gave Canelo the wrong Blueprint. I was high.'

"It's unfortunate that a stupid picture was posted to my Instagram account earlier today that was not posted by me or authorized by me to post," Mayweather said. "I apologize to Oscar and his family for this posting. I wish him well and am rooting for him to win his fight too."

Did you see "Glee's" Amber Riley on "Dancing With the Stars?" The girl is a triple threat – actor, singer, and it turns out, amazing dancer. On the first night of the 17th season of "Dancing," the 27-year-old crushed her competitors with a 27 out of 30 on the difficult to master cha-cha. Her "dream deferred," to be a dancer as she said on the show, may now be a dream come true.
