A new hotel is slated to open at the location of Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road. Gansevoort Las Vegas is planned to open early next year. Bill's closed earlier this year for renovation and rebranding.

The new hotel will feature 188 Parisian apartment-style guest rooms including 19 suites designed by Tandem Las Vegas, an interior and concept design company. There will be a redesigned lobby bar, retail outlets, a 40,000 square-foot casino and a restaurant overlooking the Strip.

Drai's After Hours, a Las Vegas nightlife staple that had been located in the basement of Bill's Gambling Hall for 15 years until the property closed in January, will re-open in the same location. The Gansevoort Las Vegas will also feature the new Drai's Beach Club and Nightclub, a 65,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor nightclub and rooftop pool experience.

Gansevoort currently operates three hotels: Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC, Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC and Gansevoort Turks & Caicos. Gansevoort Las Vegas anticipates it will employ 1,000 people.

When the hotel opens next year, it will unseat Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace as the Strip's newest. Nobu Hotel, the world's first of its kind, occupies 181 rooms at the famed Caesars Palace. It opened on Feb. 4, 2012 as the first celebrity chef-branded hotel venture in Las Vegas.
