Hidden Pond Resort
  • Hidden Pond opened in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 2008, on 60 secluded acres. The resort has 16 individual bungalows. In 2011 the resort added the Tree Spa and a restaurant called Earth, a collaboration with internationally acclaimed Chef Ken Oringer.

  • The resort features 20 cozy bungalow cottages are set among balsam and birch groves that are perfect for a romantic getaway.

  • Each has a plush king bed, which is opposite a sitting area situated around a grand floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.

  • The bungalow cottages have a screened porch with a daybed designed for two, as well as a café table and chairs. The bathrooms have an indoor-outdoor feel as each features a private outdoor shower.

  • For larger parties, there are also 16 two-bedroom cottages, each conceived by a different Maine designer. Each cottage includes a spacious living room and dining area with a fully-equipped kitchen; two bedrooms, each with a private full bath, Frette bed linens and plush, down-filled duvets; a gas fireplace set in river stone; an inviting screened in porch; and an outdoor shower.

  • <p> Nightly starting rates at Hidden Pond are from $399 to $1150 per night, per cottage depending on season.</p>

  • Nestled in the treetops overlooking the beach forest is the new Tree Spa at Hidden Pond. The three treetop treatment rooms eight feet above ground are connected by a cat walk woven through the trees. Guests can choose from a selection of massages, facials and body treatments.

  • Each evening at dusk, kids and adults alike gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and enjoy cocktails.
