'Sharknado' Storm Blows Through Internet

Sharks + tornados + 90s-era actors = biggest Syfy movie hit in years.

Syfy's original movie "Sharknado" grabbed the U.S. consciousness and stormed the Internet as it aired Thursday night on the cable channel, leaving a path of destruction where no shark-tornado puns will ever live again.

One review on movie website IMDB called the film "gloriously incompetent and gleefully terrible."

"Absolutely nothing make [sic] sense. Physics and natural laws are ignored. Horrible CGI and cringe-worthy dialog. Outrageous continuity exceeded only by horrible color correction and clunky editing. The all together wooden acting no doubt achieved in single takes is sincere, earnest and fails on levels that should win awards," the review read. "And you can't stop watching."

Leah Remini Leaves Scientology

Actress Leah Remini must have misread Lawrence Wright's book on Scientology, "Going Clear." Because Remini decided to just go, instead.

The star of "King of Queens" and co-host of "The Talk" released a statement Thursday night thanking her fans and the media for their support after leaving the Church of Scientology. Remini, 43, has been a longtime member of the church and even attended the wedding of high-profile Scientologist Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The Church of Scientology declined to comment about Remini to ABC News, saying in a statement, "The church respects the privacy of parishioners and has no further comment."

Suri Cruise Called a "Brat"

Don't mess with Suri Cruise.

The tiny offspring of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise emerged from a New York City building into a scrum of paparazzi earlier this week, immediately telling them to "stop it" and "get out of the way" as she walked to her car, Holmes smiling politely to her side as they walked.

When one loud-mouthed photographer yelled "little brat" and other names at the small celebrity, she hopped into her SUV while fellow paparazzi turned on the heckler, according to E!.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," another cameraman yelled. "When you're a father, bro..."

Meanwhile, on Suri's Burn Book, the satirical website that purports to be written by Suri, they declared the problem solved after hiring some help to set the rude pap straight.

NYC Building Collapses

A building in New York's Chinatown collapsed Thursday after an explosion in a hair salon on the building's first floor, where firefighters found boxes of roach bombs that had been "improperly used."

The insect-fighting bombs help kill cockroaches and other critters that occasionally plague Chinatown buildings.

The explosion led to a roaring fire that engulfed the building and led to its collapse, injuring a dozen people, including four firefighters, according to the New York Daily News.

Adam Levine Should Be Drunk More, According to Blake Shelton

Shots, shots, shots, everybody.

That's the new song Blake Shelton is singing to "Voice" cohost Adam Levine, whom Shelton thinks is not drunk often enough, according to a new interview.

Yahoo reports that country-music star Shelton told Men's Journal that he's bored by Levine's healthy lifestyle and wishes he would act more like a rock star. Meaning drunk.

"I get frustrated with Adam because, to me, rock stars are supposed to be drunk all the time. But he's very healthy," Blake told Men's Journal. "He takes care of himself. And it drives me crazy, because I want him to be more like me. Drunk all the time."

Fish Oil Study Shows Links to Prostate Cancer

Hold the salmon, please.

After years of stocking up on fish oil supplements and fillets of fish (not the McDonald's kind), men who have been trying to consume extra omega-3 fatty acids to combat heart disease might be putting themselves at risk for prostate cancer, a new study has found.

According to ABC News' own report, the new study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute said that men who have higher levels of omega-3s have a 43 percent increased risk of developing prostate cancer. Read more here.

Willow Smith's New "Summer Fling" Video

She's done whipping her hair back and forth and has moved onto dating, or so it seems from Willow Smith's new video, "Summer Fling."

The daughter of "Fresh Prince" star Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith released her new video to YouTube last week, where it has garnered some criticism for being too suggestive.

"Don't really care what we do tonight," Smith, 12, sings while apparently on a date with a slightly older boy. "Good night kisses if the mood is right, laying by the beach with you wishing this will never end."

The Social Climber is still undecided on Smith's new jam, but does hope to see Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Fallon cover it as well as they did Whip My Hair.
