This afternoon at least two rabbis are under arrest accused in a bizarre plot a forcing orthodox Jewish man into giving their wives religious divorces by torturing them. Orthodox rules allow only a man to initiate the divorce. And one rabbi claims to have conducted more than 2000 such divorces that are forced. Overnight the FBI conducted raids have a number of locations from Flatbush Brooklyn all the way to suffered in Rockland county. Eyewitness News reporter Marcus Solis is live -- -- with the details markets. In that shakedown scheme which involves elements of Jewish law kidnapping torture and big money. He's one of three rabbis accused of using kidnapping and torture -- -- orthodox men to agree to divorce their wives. According to court papers the sixty year old rabbi was caught on wiretap telling an undercover agent posing as a woman seeking a divorce quote. Basically what we're going to be doing -- kidnapping a guy for a couple of hours and beating them up and torturing him and then getting him to give the gift.
