You're watching America this morning. America's number 1 in the early morning news. This city of Boston is waking up to face its new reality as a target of terror. In a heartbeat the big city events with a small town friendly feel went up in smoke. Shattered by two explosions -- what we know at this hour. At least three people are dead up to 150. People are injured many of them very seriously and investigators are scrambling for answers. -- mom Riley joins us now from Boston with the very latest warning to mind. Today residents were put on a brave face and head back to work after their city city was shattered by bombs. This morning the city of Boston is on heightened alert puts -- -- 44 hours after terror erupted. Thousands were celebrating patriots day running in the city's marathon -- just a few yards from the the finish line at 2:50 PM the first bomb explodes who. -- -- -- Table -- OK I don't know what they call this number right to. Chaos ensued -- the white smoke just seconds later another explosion. At least three people were killed including an eight year old boy more than a 140. Injured. The bombs went off about four hours after the start of the race just fifty to a hundred yards apart first responders rushed -- -- -- local hospitals quickly mobilize some victims were transported by wheelchairs and stretchers one hospital officials said the scene looked like a war zone. President Obama was notified within minutes -- and promised action. I'm supremely confident that Bostonians wool pulled together take care of each other and move forward as -- proud city and as they do. The American people will be -- them every single step of the way. Officials are tracking multiple persons of interest including a man being treated in an area hospital as well as another individual who was seen trying to gain at. Access to restricted area.
