Top Five Health Care System Web Resources

The Commonwealth Fund (CWF) private foundation that aims to promote a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality and greater efficiency, particularly for society's most vulnerable, including low-income people, the uninsured, minority Americans, young children, and elderly adults.

The Kaiser Family Foundation a non-profit, private operating foundation focusing on the major health care issues facing the nation providing information for the health care community and the public.

The Institute of Medicine provides science-based advice on matters of biomedical science, medicine, and health.

The Center for Disease Control one of the 13 major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which is the principal agency in the United States government for protecting the health and safety of all Americans. It also provides essential human services, especially for those least able to help themselves.
