Reporter: A terrifying night in Boston's fenway park, a 22-year-old woman plunges two stories down an elevator shaft after last night's red sox game against the Detroit tigers. The person fell into an elevator shaft. Reporter: Officials are looking into whether one or both elevator doors opened on the fourth floor, causing the woman to fall and land on top of the elevator below. About 50 feet below was a young woman in her 20s who was badly injured and nonresponsive. Reporter: Rescue workers carefully mapping out a plan to recover the injured woman. The first plan is we remove the victim through the hatch in the elevator. Reporter: Firefighters standing on a chair to reach the woman. Emergency officials transported her to a nearby hospital. Officials will not comment on her condition. Around two dozen people reportedly die in elevator accidents in the U.S. Every year.
