— -- Welcome to our weekly fantasy football forecast, where we tell you how the weather will impact your fantasy football lineup for this week.

A cold front is moving in from the west that will bring showers and storms across the southeast on Saturday and eventually into Florida by Sunday. In the Tampa Bay area scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day on Sunday, and that could impact the Giants versus Buccaneers game at 4:05 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium.

Last week Drew Brees scored seven touchdowns against the Giants defense. That puts Jameis Winston in a good position this week, and he hasn’t thrown a pick in the last three games. Vincent Jackson is injured and his status is questionable, so if he is out, that opens the door for receiver Mike Evans. Winston is giving him targets, but it’s up to Evans to deliver and so far he has been inconsistent -– he’s had only one touchdown this season.

Showers could also cause the Bucs to rely more heavily on the running game. With Doug Martin leading the backfield, it puts the Bucs in a great position against a struggling Giants defense which has given up over 100 yards in four straight games to running backs.

Odell Beckham Jr. has been dealing with a hamstring injury, but after last week he looks perfectly healed. He’s a WR1, even in the rain, especially because the Bucs secondary have allowed the third most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. The Giants backfield isn’t the best, and Rashad Jennings hasn’t had a rushing touchdown since the season opener. It could be another rough matchup for him on Sunday.
