Your Guide to Thanksgiving Shopping Hours

Some of your favorite stores are starting the savings Thanksgiving Day.

— -- You don't have to wait until Black Friday to score a deal.

Just as the turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie feasts begin to settle, some stores will open their doors Thanksgiving Day, marking the start of the 2015 holiday shopping season.

If you're eager to shop on Turkey Day, here's a look at some of the biggest retailers that will open their doors today. (Note that the times listed are for most locations. Be sure to check your local store's hours.)

Walmart

Walmart kicks off the holiday shopping season Thanksgiving Day when its doors open at 6 p.m. The retailer is urging shoppers to plan ahead by downloading a store map on Walmart.com or through the Walmart app.

Target

Doors open 6 p.m. Thursday at Target.

Kmart

Stores will open at 6 a.m. Thursday and will remain open until 10 p.m. Friday.

Best Buy

Best Buy opens at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Doors close Friday at 1 a.m. and stores re-open Friday at 8 a.m.

Sears

Sears opens at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Macy's

After its famous New York City parade has wrapped up, Macy's will open its doors at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.

Kohl's

Kohl's kicks off the savings at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.

JCPenney

Doors open at most JCPenney stores Thursday at 3 p.m.

Toys R Us

Stores open at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.
