How Amy Purdy Celebrated Her Perfect 'Dancing With the Stars' Score

May 6, 2014 -- Amy Purdy had a lot to celebrate on Monday night after she and her partner, Derek Hough, scored a perfect score of 40 for their Argentine tango.

During a Twitter chat with her fans afterward, Purdy said she planned to indulge in a Cinco de Mayo-themed dinner.

"Tonight I'm having a margarita & tacos," she wrote of her after show-snack. "#CincoDeMayo ;)"

The Paralympic snowboarder, 34, was also bouncing back from an injury she sustained last week: a dislocated rib. However, she said, because she acted quickly, she felt well enough to compete.

"Right away I had massage & chiropractic work, ice & a lil rest," she said.

As she goes into the semi-finals, Purdy said that she and Hough are determined to have fun and not put pressure on themselves.

"It is truly life-changing," she gushed of the experience.
