— -- We bid farewell to “Parks and Recreation” and Aziz Ansari’s Tom Haverford earlier this year. But luckily for fans of the 32-year-old comedian and actor, his break from the small screen was a short one.

Ansari is the star and creator of upcoming Netflix series “Master of None,” about a 30-year-old struggling actor. The series’ first trailer debuted this morning, and features the signature Ansari humor that fans know from his stand-up routines. Check it out.

Ansari took to Twitter answer fans’ questions about the trailer and upcoming comedy series. The comedian explained that despite the obvious similarities between himself and the show’s character, Dev, it won’t be autobiographical.

Ansari also noted that the show will be a family affair, thanks to his father, who appears in the new trailer.

And as far as “Parks and Recreation” goes, it looks like Leslie Knope won’t be making any appearances on “Master of None.”

Prepare to binge watch “Master of None” when the series streams on Netflix beginning Nov. 6.
