After presenting with "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston, the two bantered back and forth about his being on "Seinfeld" back in the day as one of Dreyfus' love interests.
After her name was called, she walked up to get her Emmy and he accosted her and started making out with the award-winning actress.
"You were on 'Seinfeld!'" she said, as Cranston sat in the audience rubbing his fingers over his lips.
Backstage, Cranston said about the kiss, "It's not a question of why, but more a question of why not?"
Cranston and Louis-Dreyfus both confirmed after the show that they asked their spouses for permission before locking lips.
