Calvin Harris Praises Taylor Swift for Convincing Apple to Pay Artists

— -- Many musicians are praising Taylor Swift for successfully persuading Apple to pay artists whose music will be streamed during the three-month free trial of its new streaming service.
One person who's especially proud of the "Bad Blood" singer is her new beau, Calvin Harris.
"I just played a gig inside a giant owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry," the Scottish D.J. and producer tweeted. "What a day."
Harris, who just performed at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, was first linked to Swift earlier this year.
As for Swift, learning that Apple was changing course as a result of her message made today a very special one.
"I am elated and relieved. Thank you for your words of support today," she tweeted. "They listened to us."
