May 30, 2014 -- Cheryl Burke recently posed in a bikini to flaunt her 15-pound weight loss.

However, some of her fans weren't so excited to see it -- and expressed their concern.

Cheryl Burke Opens Up About Her Relationships

"I’ve had a very public struggle with the press and their comments about my weight for a number of years now, but I want to make it clear that this isn’t about them. Yes, I have been hurt by their criticism, but I’m only human," the "Dancing with the Stars" pro, 30, wrote on her Facebook page. "This wasn’t some drastic change I made overnight. I’m not caving in to the pressures of Hollywood, as some of you have expressed your concern that I might be, and I’m certainly not starving myself."

Burke, who went from 135 lbs. to 120 lbs. over the past few months, credits workouts with pal Lea Remini and smaller portions at meal time for her new body, according to People. This time, she added on her Facebook page, she's making sure she's eating healthy foods instead of trying another "fad diet," and surrounding herself with "good people" who encourage and support her.

Would Cheryl Burke Star On 'The Bachelorette'?

"It’s not about chasing a number on the scale, and it’s not about Hollywood," she wrote. "We will all face criticism throughout our lives, no matter where we live and what we weigh. So if you’re struggling with that, you’re not alone. Not at all."

"My weight fluctuates, just like any other person’s does, and there will always be critics," she continued. "You’ve got to tune out the other people and tune in to what’s going on inside. Love yourself. Nourish your body. Be kind to one another."
