— -- Christie Brinkley took to Facebook Sunday to defend her actions after reports of a slightly unusual altercation at her house in the Hamptons over the holiday weekend.

The supermodel allegedly turned a water hose on a woman who she said was urinating on her Long Island, New York, property during an Independence Day gathering. Brinkley maintained in her post that she was “forced to hose down [the woman's] mess after she urinated in my yard all the while throwing things at me.”

“I know it's Independence Day, but that does not mean ‘free to pee’ in front of my guests and me at my fireworks gathering,” she wrote.

“My wish for everyone on this Fourth of July is.l..May you live in the Land of the Free from belligerent drunken stalkers with weak bladders and foul mouths,” she continued, adding, “that’s not too much to ask right?”

The post included a photo of the headlines and Brinkley, 62, even tagged some news sources.

She closed out the post with a shout out to her line of organic Prosecco wine, Bellissima.

Though the trespasser may have peed on Brinkley’s parade, the star seems to have continued her celebration, writing, “Cheers Happy 4th to everyone!”
