Baking and Breaking: Celebrity Parents on the Brink

Take Courtney Stodden and her mom, Krista. Baking with the one who bore you is a very sweet Mother's Day activity, but wearing a skimpy, midriff-baring French maid's outfit and clear platforms while doing so sounds like a spec script for a really creepy adult film.
Then again, Krista Stodden famously supported her daughter when the then 16-year-old wanted to marry an actor more than three times her age. And when you compare her to other Hollywood parents who've recently raised eyebrows, she's really not that strange:

"If [Child Protective Services] comes to Octomom's house, they should definitely go to [Krentcil's] house, and they should mandate parenting classes for her, for sure," Suleman told TMZ.
Krentcil, who pleaded not guilty to second-degree child endangerment earlier this month, has said she never allowed her daughter to go into a tanning booth, though she admitted to excessively tanning herself.
Meanwhile, Suleman has been under scrutiny for her own child-rearing practices after photos of her house that purportedly showed her children living in squalor were released to the press.
Suleman, whose home is in foreclosure and recently filed for bankruptcy, has admitted she would consider doing porn to provide for her family.media: 16342728

She is seeking to have the marriage annulled.
Last Friday, a visibly pregnant Reese Witherspoon attended an emergency competency hearing, in which she and her brother asked a judge to place their father under a conservatorship, The Tennessean reported.
"This is obviously a very difficult situation and for someone who's as private as Reese Witherspoon," Charlotte Triggs, staff writer at People magazine, told ABC News. "It's really a stressful time for her."media: 16342790

The order, which stipulated that Love keep away from Frances, Frances' grandmother, Frances' aunt, and Frances's living dog, Uncle Fester, details how Love allegedly killed Frances' cat by allowing it to get tangled in piles of fabric and killed her dog by letting it swallow Love's medication.
According to the restraining order, Frances, whose father is the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, says that Love "has taken drugs for as long as I can remember. She basically exists now on ... Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes. She rarely eats ... She often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives." She adds that Love once tried to jump off a balcony in her presence.
Since that order, Love hasn't exactly calmed down. She took to Twitter ranting about former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl attempting to have sex with Frances Bean. Frances denied Love's accusations and suggested that Love be banned from the social network. media: 16342661
