Are Emma Roberts and Evan Peters Engaged?

Jan. 6, 2013 — -- "American Horror Story" co-stars and off-screen couple Emma Roberts and Evan Peters are engaged, according to "Extra."

The couple first worked together last year for the movie "Adult World" and the duo have been together ever since.

"Extra" broke the news that Peters, 26, asked Roberts, 22, to marry him over the holidays in New York City, then the couple went to London for New Year's.

Roberts and Peters returned to New Orleans this past weekend and pictures of the young star's new diamond ring have started to surface.

A rep for Roberts declined to comment, but in the photo below with the suitcase, she's clearly wearing a ring on her left hand.

Roberts made news last year in July after she was arrested on domestic violence charges for a fight she had with Peters. Police said the charges were dropped at the other party's request.

"It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding," according to a joint statement from the couple's reps. "Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."

Roberts previously dated Alex Pettyfer before meeting Peters. There's no word yet on when the two plan to tie the knot.
