— -- ESPN's The Body issue usually brings together some of the world's most notable athletes to strip down and tell their stories to inspire others.

This year, ESPN put together a little extra for all the Marvel super hero fans out there.

The likes of the Hulk, Captain Marvel and Iron Man are featured in the Super Heroes Edition, inserted into the magazine.

Captain Marvel

Artist Sara Pichelli said she worked to "combine correct proportions and powerful muscle shapes with a commonly accepted idea of beauty" here.

"She's a character of power, so I keep her upright: shoulders back, chest out; just a very commanding presence," artist Frank Cho said.
