— -- Major spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones" season 7.

As we head into the season 7 finale this Sunday on "Game of Thrones," we've already lost a few major characters and even a dragon, but there hasn't been that classic "Thrones" death that leaves fans shocked and saddened.

If the history of the series is any indication (cough, cough, 'Red Wedding,' Tywin Lannister, etc.), then expect some fireworks in the finale and to shed some tears in case one of your favorite characters bites the big one.

ABC News sat down with FiveThirtyEight's pop culture expert and data analyst, Walt Hickey, to look at the odds-on favorites to die this Sunday.

With "Thrones," anything could happen, so there's no way to clearly predict this, but here's a solid crack at it based on the storyline, fan votes and characters' histories.

Who is most at risk?

Hickey has three people at the top, including The Mountain at 1-to-2 odds to die, with both Littlefinger and Beric Dondarrion coming in at even money.

Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain hasn't been that relevant this season after his surprise return as kind of a walking dead figure last year. He protects the queen, and if a fight breaks out when Daenerys Targaryen and company go to visit King's Landing, he's an easy one to knock off the board.

Littlefinger is someone you either love or hate. He's been playing Arya and Sansa pretty well, trying to split the sisters up. His game of cat and mouse with Arya might come back to haunt him.

Beric just lost his priest in the last episode, the man who has brought him back to life on several occasions. Maybe with this man out of the picture, the Lord of Light won't be so much on his side. He could also be motivation for Jon Snow to battle the Night King moving forward.

Who is middle of the pack?

Also even money is Theon Greyjoy, yeah him! He had apparently made his comeback after saving Sansa from Ramsay Bolton, but then let his sister get taken and didn't even put up a fight. He needs to yet again make amends and it might cost him his life.

Euron Greyjoy is 2-to-1 and while he has been a one-man wrecking crew tearing through the Sand Snakes and Yara and Theon's forces, it's still "Thrones" and he's playing with the Jaime-Cersei Lannister dynamic; not a smart thing to do on this show.

Who is unlikely?

Coming in at 5-to-1 is Sandor Clegane aka The Hound. He's really made a 180 since his early, more nefarious days on the show. He's now seeing into the future and apparently has the Lord of Light on his side. He's also proven himself worthy to the likes of Jon Snow.

But you can't count out a show like "Thrones" having him tragically fall to the Night King or even to his nasty older brother The Mountain. That would have fans reeling.

Wildcards

Ipsos, an organization that takes national polls, took one from over 2,000 "Thrones" fans and while this chart also has Theon and Littlefinger on the possible death list, there are a few surprises that fans voted for.

Nine percent of fans picked Cersei to die and eight percent picked Jaime.

This is interesting and while you would expect the two Lannisters to be big players in season 8, maybe losing Cersei is what Jaime needs to rejoin his brother Tyrion in the battle against the White Walkers? Or maybe losing Jaime is what Cersei needs to be the ruthless queen she's always wanted to be?

Well, only time with tell and we'll all find out Sunday night at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
