— -- The new theme song for the "Ghostbusters" reboot is out, featuring Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott and fans are not happy.

Media and critics alike are panning the song, with people like Andy Signore from Honest Trailers writing, "I fully support hating this new theme," although he’s reserving personal judgment until he sees the movie.

Collider editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub wrote, "the new Ghostbusters theme ... wow ... not good."

Fans have also taken to Twitter, adding sentiments like, "A little bit of my childhood just died."

It's not all bad, though. Entertainment Weekly gave the song a chance and Nolan Feeney praised Elliott's turn on the track.

"New Missy is still new Missy," he wrote. "There’s also something endearing about her sincerity: Missy Elliott is literally rapping about being scared of ghosts. It’s the only part of the song that feels as goofy as the original did."

In the new song, there's a fresh, high-energy beginning that is classic Fall Out Boy.

Then, you'll recognize the iconic lines, "If there's something strange in the neighborhood."

Give it a listen and decide for yourself.

"Ghostbusters" hits theaters July 15.
