John Travolta Has a Hands-Off Approach to His Daughter Dating

— -- When it comes to his 16-year-old daughter dating, John Travolta has a laissez-faire policy.

The "American Crime Story" actor made an appearance on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" airing Tuesday, bringing along wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu.

When DeGeneres asked Ella if she was dating, Travolta came to her rescue.

"I don't interfere with that," the 62-year-old star said. "I'm saving her because she has two guys that she hangs out with, I don't ask anything about what they say or do with each other."

Fortunately, mom knows the scoop.

"I know everything," Preston shared.

"Mothers always do," Travolta acknowledged.

So then DeGeneres asked Preston if their daughter is dating, but this time Ella answered for herself. "No," she replied.

"Good, let's keep it that way," Travolta responded.
