Kenan Thompson Welcomes a Daughter

— -- Kenan Thomspon is a father.

The "Saturday Night Live" star, 36, and his wife, Christina Evangeline Thompson, welcomed a daughter, Thompson's manager confirmed to ABC News.

"Kenan and his wife Christina welcomed daughter Georgia into the world at 6.5 pounds," he said in a statement. "The family is home and absolutely blessed."

According to TMZ, she was born this past Friday morning in New York City.

This is the first child for the couple, who married in 2011.

Since the baby arrived, the couple has been ooh'ing and aah'ing over her. The new mother even captioned the photos, "while you were sleeping..." and "we're just really sleepy."
