Kesha has a new man in her life.
For the past few months, it's been reported that the singer was dating Brad Ashenfelter, a writer from New Jersey, and for the first time, she opened up about their relationship.
"My new squeeze!" she told Ryan Seacrest on Friday. "He's really sweet. He's really a sweet human being."
Kesha, 27, told ABC News last year that she was tired of dating. Saying that she was ready to find her "soulmate," she described her ideal mate as someone "outdoorsy and [who] loves animals and is really positive and is really funny."
"I do [like dirty boys], I mean, not actually, physically covered in dirt, but I just like them to be beardy [with] long hair and look like a little homeless," she told Seacrest of her type. "I like guys who look like they don’t groom themselves. I'm not into guys who are very high-maintenance. That's like my thing. I don’t want them to take longer to get ready than me!"
These days, the singer not only is the singer "really happy with my beard," but she's also looking forward to the premiere of her new show, "Rising Star," on ABC.
"They use apps. You download an app. It's free and America gets to vote," she said of the show, which will also feature Josh Groban, Brad Paisley and Ludacris. "Its' kind of amazing and revolutionary."
