Feb. 26, 2014 -- As he does every year, Wynn Las Vegas oddsmaker John Avello has posted odds on who will win big at the Academy Awards this Sunday.

His front-runner in the Best Picture category is "12 Years a Slave" at two-to-five. Matthew McConaughey, who celebrated his nomination with his family, is one-to-two to win best actor honors for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club" while Cate Blanchett has one-to-five odds to win the best actress Oscar for her work in Blue Jasmine.

Avello has "Dallas Buyers Club" star Jared Leto, who is taking his mother to the Oscars, at one-to-four to win the trophy for best supporting actor, and fashion darling Lupita Nyong'o at four-to-five to win best supporting actress honors for her role in "12 Years a Slave."

Avello has handicapped 24 different categories this year, but it's just for fun, since gambling on award shows isn't legal in Nevada.
