Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd Are Expecting Their 1st Child
The couple found out on the last season of "Dancing With the Stars."
— -- Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are expecting their first child together.
The "Dancing With the Stars" couple got engaged in December and Chmerkovskiy told People magazine, "I can’t wait to provide this baby with the tools to become a beautiful, kind person."
“I’m looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world. I’m looking forward to putting all our energy into this beautiful soul,” his fiancee added.
Murgatroyd won last season on "Dancing" with Nyle DiMarco and says she found out about her pregnancy early on in the show.
"I was so sick," she said.
The couple have not found out the sex of the baby yet, but Murgatroyd said the pregnancy shouldn't affect their planned wedding.
"I’ll have the baby in January and then I’ll still have about six months to prepare for the wedding," she said.
