Mel B's restraining order against ex Stephen Belafonte dissolved

The duo also reached agreement on custody of their child.

— -- Former Spice Girl Melanie "Mel B" Brown's temporary restraining order against estranged husband Stephen Belafonte was dissolved today in California court, ABC News has confirmed.

Brown had been granted the order in April ahead of the duo's divorce trial, which was set to begin later this month.

In addition to agreeing to dissolve the restraining order, both parties reached an agreement on custody of their six-year-old daughter Madison, which they share.

The other pending issues which will be heard at status conference this upcoming March.

Brown, 42, and Belafonte, 42, married in 2007 and the former Spice Girl and TV host alleged that Belafonte was abusive -- including physical assault, verbal threats and stalking, according to court documents filed earlier this year.

At the time of the court filings in April, Belafonte's lawyer told ABC News he "vehemently denies" any abuse allegations.
